Hi, I'm Noé.

My own therapy showed me something I didn't expect: my relationship struggles and scariest parts of myself weren't actually problems to fix. When they were seen and understood, they began to resolve themselves. I became a therapist to sit with those parts in other people.

I believe therapy isn't about fixing what's wrong. It's about reconnecting with the wisdom you already carry.

This work is personal to me. I'm nonbinary, poly, kinky, neurodivergent, and Buddhist, and I bring all of that into the room with me.

My approach is somatic and systemic. Your body, your relationships, and the world you're navigating all impact your mental health and all belong in the therapy room.

About Noé

I believe genuine transformation happens on three intertwined levels: your relationship with yourself, your relationships with others, and your place in the communities you're part of. I've spent the last decade trying to live that out.

For me that's meant Buddhist practice, antiracism work, intersectional feminism, and an ongoing and radical commitment to self-love. In my relationships it's meant practicing relationship anarchy, attachment work, nonviolent communication, emotional presence, and a lot of intentional play.

And in community it's meant building spaces for group somatic work, authentic relating, and genuine belonging — through intimacy retreats, poly processing groups, and producing embodiment events across Seattle. After fifteen years of making transformational work the center of my life, becoming a therapist was the natural next step.

My Approach to Therapy

My approach is collaborative and engaged, pretty far from the classic image of a therapist diagnosing from an armchair across the room. We're intimately working together on your life, your relationships, and whatever you're bringing into the room.

I draw on Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) as my core frameworks. In practice that means using IFS to explore what part of you is carrying that anxiety or anger, and slowing down to actually locate the feeling underneath whatever's surfacing rather than just thinking our way through it. We might move, draw, use props, exaggerate a physical sensation, or just sit with something for a moment longer than feels comfortable. I take influence from art therapy, drama therapy, and movement therapy because getting your body, your feelings, and both brain hemispheres involved creates more lasting change than working through something purely conceptually.

Make yourself at home in here. Sit, stand, move around, play with a fidget, bring a stuffie. If you want to go for a walk we can do that too. Your whole self is welcome.

  • I contemplate death every day. That might sound intense, but only in the context of a culture that treats death and impermanence as taboo rather than as helpful and clarifying forces in human life. Getting genuinely comfortable with the fact that everything changes, relationships, careers, and people we love, has given me a healthier relationship to all of it than I ever thought was possible.I started in the Shambhala lineage in 2010 and deepened into the Kagyu and Nyingma traditions over time. I'm always down to nerd out about Buddhist topics. Buddhists are famous for having lists: the 4 Noble Truths, the 6 Realms, the 8-Fold Path. My passion is mapping those concepts onto direct experience because there's a lot of wisdom in this 2,600 year old lineage.
